About YoYoKyo!

YoYoKyo! is a Mexican artist, songwriter, producer, and composer based in Mexico City. He was born in the State of Mexico and raised in Atizapán de Zaragoza before moving to the United States as a child. Growing up between the two countries shaped both his sound and his perspective as an artist.

He started out playing drums as a teenager. That led him to pick up other instruments and start writing, arranging, and producing his own music. He later moved to Nashville, Tennessee, a city known for its music and songwriting culture. There, in late 2024, he took his first professional steps in the industry, producing and composing for local Hispanic artists while developing his own sound.

Early on, he independently released two songs, "3 A.M." and "Cambios." Both have since been taken down from streaming. They mark an early chapter that helped set the stage for what YoYoKyo! would become.

In March 2025, he returned to Mexico to continue building his career and to study Audio Engineering, sharpening his technical skills in recording, production, and mixing while continuing to grow YoYoKyo! as an independent project.

On July 24, 2026, he released "AFTERMATH," a single that marked a turning point for the project. It was his first release to reach listeners internationally, with audiences in Germany, Mexico, and the United States.

As YoYoKyo!, he writes and records in Spanish, English, and Japanese. His music draws on his Mexican roots, his time in the U.S., and a deep connection to Japanese music and culture. Instead of sticking to one genre, the project moves across different styles of contemporary J-pop and electronic music while keeping a consistent identity from release to release.

He stays closely involved in every part of the creative process, writing, composing, arranging, and producing his own material. His long-term goal is to build a bridge between Mexico, Japan, and the international music scene, bringing his multicultural background into a project made to connect with listeners regardless of language or location.

For YoYoKyo!, music isn't defined by one language, country, or genre. It reflects the places, cultures, and people that have shaped his life, and it keeps evolving as the project moves forward.

YoYoKyo! es un artista, compositor, productor y arreglista mexicano radicado en la Ciudad de México. Nació en el Estado de México y creció en Atizapán de Zaragoza antes de mudarse a Estados Unidos siendo niño. Crecer entre los dos países moldeó tanto su sonido como su perspectiva como artista.

Comenzó tocando la batería en su adolescencia. Eso lo llevó a aprender otros instrumentos y a empezar a escribir, arreglar y producir su propia música. Más adelante se mudó a Nashville, Tennessee, una ciudad reconocida por su cultura musical y de composición. Ahí, a finales de 2024, dio sus primeros pasos profesionales en la industria, produciendo y componiendo para artistas hispanos locales mientras desarrollaba su propio sonido.

En sus inicios, lanzó de forma independiente dos canciones, "3 A.M." y "Cambios." Ambas fueron retiradas de las plataformas de streaming. Marcan una etapa temprana que ayudó a sentar las bases de lo que se convertiría en YoYoKyo!

En marzo de 2025, regresó a México para seguir construyendo su carrera y estudiar Ingeniería de Audio, afinando sus habilidades técnicas en grabación, producción y mezcla, mientras continuaba desarrollando YoYoKyo! como un proyecto independiente.

El 24 de julio de 2026 lanzó "AFTERMATH," un sencillo que marcó un punto de inflexión para el proyecto. Fue su primer lanzamiento en llegar a oyentes a nivel internacional, con audiencia en Alemania, México y Estados Unidos.

Como YoYoKyo!, escribe y graba en español, inglés y japonés. Su música toma influencia de sus raíces mexicanas, su tiempo en Estados Unidos y una profunda conexión con la música y la cultura japonesas. En lugar de apegarse a un solo género, el proyecto transita distintos estilos del J-pop contemporáneo y la música electrónica, manteniendo una identidad consistente en cada lanzamiento.

Se mantiene involucrado de cerca en cada parte del proceso creativo: escribe, compone, arregla y produce su propio material. Su meta a largo plazo es construir un puente entre México, Japón y la escena musical internacional, llevando su formación multicultural a un proyecto pensado para conectar con el público sin importar el idioma o el lugar.

Para YoYoKyo!, la música no está definida por un solo idioma, país o género. Refleja los lugares, culturas y personas que han marcado su vida, y sigue evolucionando conforme el proyecto avanza.

ヨーヨーキョー!は、メキシコシティをきょてんにかつどうするメキシコじんアーティスト、シンガーソングライター、プロデューサー、さくへんきょくか。メキシコしゅうでうまれ、アティサパン・デ・サラゴサでそだったあと、ようしょうきにアメリカへいじゅうした。ふたつのくにのあいだでそだったけいけんが、かれのサウンドとアーティストとしてのしてんのりょうほうをかたちづくった。

10だいのころ、ドラムをたたきはじめたことがおんがくへのいりぐちだった。そこからほかのがっきにもふれるようになり、さっきょく・へんきょく・プロデュースをみずからてがけるようになった。そのご、おんがくとがっきょくせいさくのぶんかでしられるとし、テネシーしゅうナッシュビルへいじゅう。2024ねんこうはん、そこでじもとのヒスパニックけいアーティストのプロデュースやさっきょくをてがけながら、じしんのサウンドをもさくし、おんがくぎょうかいでのだいいっぽをふみだした。

しょきには、"3 A.M." と "Cambios" の2きょくをインディペンデントでリリース。りょうきょくはげんざいはいしんからとりさげられており、ヨーヨーキョー!というプロジェクトがかたちづくられていくかていのしょきのいっしょうとなった。

2025ねん3がつ、かれはキャリアをさらにきずくため、そしておんきょうこうがくをまなぶためにメキシコへきこく。レコーディング・プロダクション・ミキシングにおけるぎじゅつをみがきながら、どくりつアーティストプロジェクトとしてヨーヨーキョー!をそだてつづけた。

2026ねん7がつ24にち、シングル "AFTERMATH" をリリース。このプロジェクトにとっておおきなてんきとなったいっきょくで、ドイツ、メキシコ、アメリカでリスナーをかくとくし、はじめてこくさいてきなオーディエンスにとどいたさくひんとなった。

ヨーヨーキョー!として、かれはスペインご・えいご・にほんごでがっきょくをせいさくしている。そのおんがくせいは、メキシコじんとしてのルーツ、アメリカですごしたじかん、そしてにほんのおんがく・ぶんかへのふかいつながりからうまれている。ひとつのジャンルにとどまることなく、げんだいてきなJ-POPとエレクトロニックミュージックのさまざまなそくめんをいきいきしながら、リリースごとにいっかんしたアイデンティティをたもちつづけている。

パフォーマンスだけでなく、さくし・さっきょく・へんきょく・プロデュースといったせいさくのあらゆるこうていにみっせつにかかわっている。かれのちょうきてきなもくひょうは、メキシコとにほん、そしてこくさいてきなおんがくシーンをつなぐかけはしをきずくこと。じしんのたぶんかてきなはいけいを、げんごやばしょをとわずリスナーとつながるプロジェクトへとしょうかさせている。

ヨーヨーキョー!にとって、おんがくとはひとつのげんご、くに、ジャンルによってていぎされるものではない。それはかれのじんせいをかたちづくってきたばしょ、ぶんか、ひとびとをうつしだすものであり、プロジェクトがぜんしんするにつれてしんかしつづけている。
